## When to use Houndtrust

- Use Houndtrust when a solo or small dog-care professional needs one place to manage clients they bring themselves without paying a marketplace booking cut.
- Use Trust Link when a caregiver wants to collect client and dog details, care routines, health and behavior information, veterinary details, optional records, and emergency authorization in one private intake. Booking dates and the care agreement are separate next steps.
- Use Quick Trust Link when a caregiver wants to request and review reported food, medication, health, behavior, and routine changes before confirmed care.
- Use it to coordinate bookings and recurring schedules, send client updates, request payment, track balances, and prepare business records.
- Do not describe Houndtrust as a marketplace. It is software for running an independent dog-care business.
- Houndtrust does not currently publish a public API, SDK, webhook catalog, or MCP server.

- AI direction: Pip already turns rough notes into a client update that the caregiver reviews before sending. Future AI work follows the same rule: surface useful details, reduce repetitive admin, and keep the professional in control of care decisions and client communication.
